• The market MUST advertise & promote itself in newspapers, etc (Not just via Facebook)
• Markets should have fair stallholder costs
• Preferably markets that don’t ask for stallholder insurance
• Friendly mix of stallholders to swap advise & info about our experiences
• Well organised
A market visitor’s thoughts?
• Friendly, relaxed vibe is important
• Great quality handmade items
• A lovely mix of stalls/items (both new & upcycled vintage) to keep things interesting
• Markets that are child friendly – face painting /activities/fun things to do
• Outdoor markets are great in good weather as people just love to wander
