melbournesmysterymarket

An entirely fresh concept in Marketland; a curated collection of local designers and makers’ whose products complement the venue and occasion. While the concept is new, the team behind it is not: Melbourne market royalty Danielle Bamford and Tui Lyon, the ladies from the North Melbourne Market which ran for six years before morphing into Melbourne's Mystery Market. Known for fostering a breeding ground of creative talent, this team is on top of Melbourne's who's who-list of the crafty and creative.

The exciting evolution to Melbourne’s Mystery Market has enabled them to collaborate with different venues around Melbourne to produce large scale exciting events. The new format delivers a stronger focus on creating interactive components for visitors to take part in.

Thread Den’s philosophy is to treat The Market as an incubator for independent brands, small labels, creative makers and artisans to sell their amazing wares. The bulk of stall holders are local fashion and accessory labels, with a strong smattering of vintage, handmade craft, super kawaii goodies, yummy treats throughout and hand-made oddities you’ve never imagined. Stall holder criteria ensures everything must Australian designed, locally handmade, vintage or fair-trade.
